Jenney's Journey 

Alan is a character I created during middle school as a way to escape the real world. At the time, I felt isolated because of language barriers. Instead of making friends, I created companions for my characters—and for myself. These characters became reflections of my emotions and different stages of my life.

In this project, Alan wakes up in a world where the past has almost disappeared. He has lost his memories and only remembers his name. The broken parts of his body and the ruins around him are the only clues to what once happened.

As Alan moves through this world, he slowly rebuilds his sense of self through new encounters and experiences. His story reflects my own thoughts about memory and identity. Instead of trying to recover the past exactly as it was, this work asks how we rebuild ourselves from what remains.
