Wish You Were Here
From Me, To You
In this series of postcard-sized landscapes made with oil pastels, I explore the intimacy of sharing what we see with the people we love. Postcards have always carried more than just an image—they hold memory, presence, and a trace of longing. Unlike digital pictures that can be endlessly copied and quickly forgotten, a physical image keeps its own temperature, carrying the warmth of a moment preserved in texture and touch.
With each work, I imagine the act of sending a postcard: showing someone the world through my eyes, hoping they can feel what I feel. These landscapes are not just views of places, but offerings of connection—to you, from me.
